My design philosophy is to listen to you, and to make your project a unique reflection of your building needs. I have no preconception on style. I believe in Form Follows Function - I design from the inside out. Every design is informed by the surrounding environment - views, daylight, weather and sun patterns, and topography all become an integral part of your design. With over 38 years of experience, I have designed literally hundreds of projects. Over the life of a home, or any building, the typical owner will spend an amount equal to their original investment in remodeling. They will spend 1-1/2 times that amount on maintenance, and they will spend seven times that amount on energy! Therefore, when I design, I try to make your building flexible to hold down remodeling costs, durable to hold down maintenance costs, and most of all, I am committed to making your project as energy efficient as possible!
